Hi experts,
We just bought a 48U upgrade since all our 32 ephones are fully used up. When we apply the license, the 32 max-phone don't adjust to 48 so we cannot use the addiotional phone we wanted.
Also we cannot verify how many licenses we have already after applying it.

Anyone pls?
Don't know why we cannot see the new license applied...
thanks

Try contacting licensing@cisco.com

Thanks for your response Paolo,
the licensing@cisco.com doesn't help me. I noticed that the command "license feature
uc500-24u-to-48u-upgrade" isn't recognized as a valid command so I thinked that the problem was in the IOS. I updated the IOS from version 12.4(11)XW7 (uc500-advipservicesk9-mz.124-11.XW7) to version 15.0(1)XA2 (uc500-advipservicesk9-mz.150-1.XA2) and the problem is resolved. So I activated the upgrade and now in the sh version command I obtain this :
56 User Licenses
10 FastEthernet interfaces
2 terminal lines
1 Virtual Private Network (VPN) Module
8 Voice FXO interfaces
4 Voice FXS interfaces
1 Voice MoH interface
1 cisco service engine(s)
and I have max-ephone 72 :
UC520(config-telephony)#max-ephones ?
<1-72> Maximum phones to support
I didn't understant that but I will look for this later. The important thing now is that I resolved my problem and all my 48 phones are woking fine.
I hope this will help you.
Thank you

You can configure 72 ephones but only register 56 simultaneously. The extra 8 from 48 are an allowance from Cisco.
