I have been asked to convert a 4 digit dial plan to 10 digits. It was kind of my idea but now I am not sure what the best path would be as I need to do this one site at a time at least to start. I know what to do for the Unity Connections side but on the CUCM side I would like to have them be able to dial the 4 digits without a prepending site code and vice versa dial 10 digits from the other locations without a site code. Is that possible and what would the best means to do this be?
OK I think I understand. I could have a translation pattern of 85872023XX that is in the partition the 10 digit phones are in and set the CSS for one that has the partition the 4 digit phones are in and set the "calling Party transformation mask" to XXXX to match the 4 digits they are dialing?
