Is it possible to support desk-phone mode in CUCIMOC with a 3rd party SIP phone (e.g. Device type = 3rd party SIP Device - Advanced)? Or is CUCIMOC deskphone control only supported with a Cisco Unified IP phone?
If 3rd party SIP devices are supported, how is this configured in comparison to a standard Cisco IP phone? I see there isn't the "Allow Control of Device from CTI" checkbox provided for 3rd party SIP devices in the CUCM phone configuration page....and I am wondering if this is why I'm having difficulties with the configuration.
Any feedback or advice is appreciated.....thanks!

Thank you for your reply....but I'm not sure I understood your response.
Just to clarify, did you mean "No, that is NOT supported"? Or did you mean "that is supported"?
I see your link forwarded me to the list of Cisco Unified phones supported for Cucimoc deskphone control. It doesn't explicitly mention 3rd party SIP devices....so I wasn't sure.
Thanks again for your reply....

Yes I was mentioning that it isn't supported. I haven't tested it but even if it works it is not supported by Cisco
