CUCM 11.5 BAT Phone Migration - Preserving Description

Hi,

I've been using BAT phone migration for some individual phone replacements where the new model is different from the old.  It appears that although this process transfers just about all the configuration, it does not transfer the description.  If you specify the description in the CSV then that's used for the new phone.  If the column is missing it copies the device name into the description.  Is that just the way it is, or is there a way that I am missing for the migrated phone to inherit description from the source phone?

From past experience that is how this function works. It’s the same if you do a manual migrate phone from the webUI, you have to copy the description of the source phone and paste into the migration wizard.
