Solved: CUCM 11.x license upgrade to 12.0 version

Hi dears,

Could someone help me with CUCM license upgrading. So I've installed CUCM 12.0 version, but licenses were bought for 11.X version. How to upgrade them to 12.0 smart licenses ?

Please note I haven't upgrade the CUCM from 11 to 12 , but just installed 12 and my licenses with 11.x version are in unused state now.

From my experience, an email to licensing@cisco.com will sort this out. They'll want to know the sales order for the upgrade, to prove entitlement to the new version, the contract number and probably as well to include a licence request from the old PLM if that is still alive. They'll also need to know the end user's Smart Account.
