Find Active Voice Mail Boxes

We're trying to clean up our voicemail.  And that includes trying to figure out which mailboxes are actually active, meaning people still use them, because we have plenty of voice mailboxes that are set up for shared extensions that people might not actually use.

Is there a way to find out if any voice mailboxes are actually active?  That someone has logged into them within, say 60 days?  Or some other timeframe?

Running CUCM 10.5

Check out the Unused Voice Mail Account Reports, several other post about this report.

You have to first go under Cisco Unity Connection Serviceability web portal.  Then you can access using the above method "Tools Reports Unused Voice Mail Accounts Report"

You can also use Unity Tools User data dump to pull more info.

User Data Dump can help find mailboxes that aren't being used: http://www.ciscounitytools.com/Applications/CxN/UserDataDump/UserDataDump.html

there's a number of things you can look for such as last login time or read/deleted message counts (these require user interaction as opposed to just unread message counts).  There's options in there for "User generated mailbox activity detected in the last 60 days" (90/180 days as well) - that checks for these.

if you have PW policies that require changes every 90 days or the like you can also check for the last time the password was changed.
