CUCM 12.5 Licensing CSSM Disconnected Mode

Hi,

We need to deploy the licenses on CUCM 12.5. Direct internet to CUCM is not possible. Also, enabling internet on CSSM satellite vm server is also not possible.

In CSSM satellite vm server there are two options, connected and disconnected mode.

What exactly CSSM disconnected mode means?? CSSM Satellite doesn't require any internet connection??

Can we upload and download license files from CUCM to CSSM and CSSM to cisco manually ??

Yes to about all of your questions. The exception is that you would not download/upload anything to CM, that is managed automagically by the connection it needs to have with an SSM system of some sort. It can be cloud or on-prem SSM.

With an on-prem SSM you can select it to be air-locked from the outside world and then you'd need to do a manually file sync on regular occasions between the cloud SSM and the on-prem SSM.
