As expected, when attempting to upgrade from CUCM 14(SU3) to CUCM 15(SU3), the pre-upgrade check reports insufficient disk space.
I have done all the usual steps to free up space- delete unneeded TFTP files, run the free common space.cop file, adjust the watermarks via RTMT.
My understanding is that there is a way to allocate more vDisk space on the existing VM. I'm looking for the specific procedure on how to do that. I've seen references to a utility .COP file that does this on CUCM after you've adjusted the space on VMWare but it's not in the downloads section. The reference might be to an older version of CUCM, I'm not sure.
Any thoughts?

Are you encountering a similar failure message where it doesn't display how many GB are left?
What I did was migrate to a new OVA and perform a fresh install with Data Import.

Can you ignore this if you migrate to a new OVA using PCD? I get the same.

I ignored that warning as I was moving to a new OVA on the CUCM 15, and for migration, I used a fresh install using the data export and import option.
PCD will also do the job.

You cannot modify the allocation of space on the disks or partitions. All of this is defined in the OVA you used when creating the VM. To install/upgrade to v15 your VM needs to be built with a newer version of an OVA used and it has to be the 110GB variant. In older versions of CM you could change the hard drive size from 80GB to 110GB, but that’s not supported in v15. If you have a system that has had its hard drive size changed you’d have to use one of the restore or data import options.
