I have a new 8.6 install and I can call out and can call between phones on the CallManager but incoming calls get dropped without even ringing to the phone. any thoughts...

Debug the GW to find the reason code for this, then you can get an idea of what to fix.

this is an intercluster trunk between 2 Call Managers.

Check IPs, incoming CSS, codecs, if no avail, review CUCM traces.

& make sure IPs of all nodes (PUB and SUBs call manager)'s are mentioned in the ICT under "Remote Cisco Unified Communications Manager Information" at both CUCM side.
