We’re planning to backup and restore CUCM and Unity Connection across multiple international VoIP sites to/from the cloud.
Could you help me know what is the recommended network latency (TTL) as per best practice to ensure a reliable and successful backup/restore process over cloud-based SFTP?
Any Cisco guidelines or performance considerations would be greatly appreciated.
It will be weekly full of DRS backups
Thanks!

i think cisco does not specify a strict latency threshold (e.g. TTL or ms) in their official documentation,
however, based on my experience, you should aim for:
RTT (Round Trip Time):
< 150 ms is considered ideal
< 250 ms is acceptable with stable connection
> 250 ms increases the risk of timeouts or corrupt transfers
also,
ensure time synchronization (NTP) across CUCM/Unity and SFTP server
run backup outside of peak business hours
