CUCM Automation to update Controlled Devices in App User

Our organization just set up integration with Alertus to send text and audio to phones in the event of an emergency. In CUCM, I set up an App User and imported the phones. We have 13 locations (so far). Sometimes phones will break, or we set up new phones for new end users. This requires that the replacement or new phone be added to the Controlled Devices in the App User. I would like to know if this can be automated so that we don't miss any newly added phones.

CUCM has no way to do this, it would require a custom solution to create a front end to add phones which would also associate the new devices, or create some sort of process to monitor the traces to find out when a new device is added and then do the association.

We'll just have to remember to manually add them to the App User when we add/replace a phone.
