CUCM Backup issue

S Sadiq

When I log in to cucm the error message was displayed.

Warning : CUCM backup is not running from more than 5 days.

>>Backup was stuck in a loop.

We tried to cancel the backup but it did nothing.

We then restarted the DRF Master and DRF Local service on both the nodes and backup finally was stopped.
Run a manual backup worked.

>>

SFTP was not located in the same network on CUCM server (SFTP 10.80.X.X CUCM 10.161.X.X) and there was network delay under ntp status

>>As NTP delay was high.
Can you  provide the steps to reduce the delay.

And also for performing the below

-->How to Move SFTP server to the same VLAN on CUCM 10.161.250.X
-->How can I check if there is enough Space on the SFTP server.
-->And how to use one of support SFTP servers from below:
• coreFTP
• TitanSFTP
• Cygwin
• OpenSSH for Windows

You'll need to find whether the delay is because of your network, or what is causing the delay to fix it.

How to move a server in your network, is really up to your network config, where the server is running, etc. You should know what is required to change a server from one segment to the other, based on your current config. Plus, the OS on which this is running.

How to check check space, depends on what you use.

If you're asking the config for those 3rd party SFTP servers, all you need to do is google:

product + configuration

I just googled "coreFTP configuration" and found several docs and a video on YouTube

HTH

java

if this helps, please rate

Thanks Jaime,

There was 4 sec delay in network. Its fixed now.
