Hey all,
I hopefully have a quick easy question. We are running CUCM 11.5 SU5 and we are upgrading to 11.5 SU9. I forgot that you cannot make DB changes after "upgrading" the software but before the "switch version" task. We are not sure what is any changes were made after we "upgraded" the software; can we run the "free_common_space" COP to erase the inactive partition and do the "upgrade" again, when we know changes won't be made before we switch version?
If it matters, we did the "upgrade" via PCD.
Thanks,
Justin

Hi ,
As documented, the cop file remove the inactive version. so once you run the cop file you dont find anything on the inactive version. then you will be good to re-install the 11.5 SU9.

Yes you can, but you should not need to run the COP file to clear the inactive partition to be able to run the upgrade again. You should be able to run it again without first clearing the inactive partition.
