We have one location which we trunk with which has duplicate extensions as such they dial #3.XXX (with dial patterns and trunks) Their true extension is in the IpPhone Active directory field. We would like them to show in our so if we put #3XXX in the say FAX field or something in AD is there a way to get CUCM to map this field? By default it only does Telephone and IPPhone.
Also in regards to caller ID it shows their true extension and redials that one as well as it's done by their system of course, but is there a way for our system to translate these so say if you have a call from them in your call history you can redial it and it will append the #3 to the extension?

The mapping from LDAP to CUCM is fixed, you can only use the fields you get in the dropdown.
The IP Phones do not go map a DN to a directory user, you'll use the fields you configure with the name under the DN. Only Jabber does contact resolution against the directory you're using.

Thanks. Would be nice if Cisco allowed us to enter our own Custom LDAP fields for Phone, no reason they couldn't allow that really. They allow syncing of additional fields even.
