CUCM migration with PCD

Hello,

I'm performing a migration for only CUCM from MCS 8.6 cluster to UCS 10.5 cluster.

Issue: i can't set dns servers and domain name in the migration cluster, old cluster doesn't include any dns information, i attached a screenshot that shows setting is dimmed.

Question : after migration is complete can i set dns servers and domain on both servers via cli, or it can cause issues ?

Important:

You cannot change the domain name during a migration.

Hi Mahmoud,

you can set domain and dns from CLI  after succesful migration to CUCM 10.

you need to use the commands

     set network domain abc.com

this would cause server to reboot.

for DNS , u need to use set network dns primary x.x.x.x
