Hello,
i am looking for a possiblity to start a web api call from cucm 10.5.
The best way would be to have a kind of script (IVR) and make a web (soap, rest) api call to a web service that gives routing information.
Next step would be to use the information for the next routing decision.
i do not want to run a webservice and use AXL api or soemthing like that to manage CUCM, i would like to use it from CUCM to get routing information.
Does anybody have an idea, how that would be possible?
Afaik using UCCX addionally we would have the possiblity of scripts.
thank you
Best regrards
Christoph

Yeah I was going to say look at IP IVR or UCCX.
Yes UCM exposes JTAPI to talk to external systems and has annunciator, but if you’re looking at full-fledged prompting and data dips, the customer care apps do a lot more.

Hi James,
thanks for answering.
But jtapi is not able to do a web api call afaik.
So the only possiblity is to have an additional external service?
prompting and routing is secondary. most important would be to be able to make a web api request.
Thanks
Christoph

What about the Web Dialer service under the cucm?
