Hello All,
Is it possible to have a single CUCM Express with multisite ?
In the SRND guide there is no option for this.
Only Single site and Multisite Implementation with Distributed Call Processing.
Second, is it possible to have only numeric login/pwd for extension mobility on CUCME ?
Is it on a roadmap ? At least, is it possible to have the numbers appear before the others characters ?
Thanks for your help
Regards

Hello
So if you have a single CUCME at a head quarter site and have few remote sites with few users. There can be a router at the remote site which has network connectivity to the CUCME at the headend over WAN / over VPN and the phones can register to central CME. IF the call control is in single CME - then extension mobility will work. Extension mobility does not work across multuple CME sites with CME at each location.
that will need to be an enhancement. Send me the business name and clear requirement at mdaftary@cisco.com
and we will consider it for next cme release.
Thanks
Mili

Hie
You can have a centralized CME with multiple remote sites. CME can also be deployed in a ditributed fashion with multiple cmes all inter-networked.
alphanumeric string for password for EM is supported today
Thanks

Hello mdaftary,
Thanks for your answer.
Can you precise on what kind of network you can have multisites with a single CUCME.
If VPN site-to-site (with 2 Cisco routers) is enabled between sites, does it work ?
What about Extension Mobility ? I've read topics where people said it didn't work with mutilsites.
Alphanumeric strings are supported today. Yes but the letters are the pb.
With Cisco you have to use an sms style. But a large majority of our customers hate it when it's question to log in with names. Is it possible to have only numbers ? if we can't, is it possible to have the numbers before other characters on digit input. So you can have a login with a number and a pin also.
Thanks again.

Hello Mili,
Sorry for the late response.
Thanks for your answer.
Concerning the enhancement, it's not only a one case concern.
It's someting that users tell us not only on one "big" business.
Lots of our end customers come from competitors that have a phones with keyboards and some very cool features in the user experience.
Thanks anyway.
Regards.
