If you call your own CME DID and get into voice mail where the greeting is playing - should you be able to press #, enter your password and retrieve your messages?

Hi Michael,
I believe this is possible but you would need to enter the PIN and Password;
From this excellent CUE doc;
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity_exp/design/design21/cuevmdes.html#wp1008337
Hope this helps!

Thanks for that great doc. However I tried adding the password in addition to the PIN and I still can not "#" out to get to the menu. CUE is just not responding to DTMF sent over the SIP trunk.

OK...here was the mojo. I added these two commands to the inbound dial-peer which is for the SIP trunk inbound.
dial-peer voice 112 voip
dtmf-relay sip-notify rtp-nte
voice-class sip dtmf-relay force rtp-nte !
