Solved: Re: DB Walker Error

I just ran DB Walker on a fairly new system and it came up with the following error.

1203:(error) The primary call handler for this subscriber has it's AdministratorObjectID value set to point to a different subscriber.

You can fix this in DOHPropTest by copying the ObjectID of the subscriber into the AVP_ADMINISTRATOR_OBJECT_ID value for the primary call handler.

This can also, however, mean a there is a 'cross linked' call handler problem where a single primary call handler is being 'shared' by more than one subscriber.

When trying to perform the fix in DOHPropTest, it wants a password to get by the read only state. Does anyone have the password?

The DPT password's been posted out here a few times, I'll do so again here. Just so folks don't freak out, we put the PW in there to keep folks from damaging their systems - this was particularly important when we used to store most of our directory info in Exchange itself (back in 2.x) and you could damage your Exchange system if you weren't careful. That's no longer the case and you can go into SQL directly to do this type of thing now as well (including to fix this problem) if you want. DOHPropTest is safer than doing that, certainly.

So, with that said, the password is:

(100-month)(month + day).

so today's PW would be (100-3)(3+24)=9727

To fix your problem you can just copy the recipient object Id off the subscriber and paste it into the administrator object Id - as long as the recipient is valid (depending on the version of Unity you're on I'm betting the recipient is correct and the administrator is bogus). Easy enough to check - DPT lets you jump to the linked handler.

Hi -

Just press OK and you will be prompted with an invalid password message. Press Ignore at this prompt and DOHPropTest will continue in Read-only mode. If you are working under TAC direction, they will assist with giving you the password to make actual corrections.

Thanks Jeff. So todays password would be 2716 correct. I tried it and it didn't accept it. We are running version 3.1.6 Am I doing something wrong?
