dbwalker ch_ users & errors?

Unity 2.4(6) VM only Exchange 5.5

I've just run dbwalker on this system prior to running the FullDbExport to do a upgrade to 4.0(4) on a new server & to move to UM.

When I check the dbwalker log I notice that I have a ch_aliasname of subsriber Call Handler record for each subscriber.

Under each of these aliases I see the following:

(error) Standard greeting rule for this handler is marked disabled which is an illegal configuration.

Greeting rule being set for enabled.

Should I be exporting all these ch_ handlers? I did not set the dbwalker to fix anything because it was only these ch_subalias records that had probs.

Cheers,

Neil.

those ch_aliases are primary call handlers that are linked to subscribers - they're necessary. If you run dbWalker again does it still give you the same error? It should fix them on the fly, however the 2.x dbWalker version is pretty old, it may not be doing the on-the-fly thing properly.

No worries - after you export and the import into your 4.x system it should be fixed. If not, the newer version of dbWalker with 4.x will definitely fix it on the fly.
