DX 80 WEB GUI

Hello,

There is DX 80 devices and registered to CUCM ver 10.5.

http://<IP Address of DX80> ; is not shown DX 80 web GUI page. I want to change Device Type from DX80 to Telepresence DX80.

I don't found the device type (Telepresence DX80) under device list. I think that it is neccessary to apply device-pack to support this type.

Does telepresence DX80 provide me with WEB GUI? Is it neccessary to confim this info,

Hi Emine,

You need to add device pack to get "Cisco Telepresence DX80 " under Phone Type  and restart the server.

Are u referring to checking Network statistics/device information status under Web GUI ?

If you are unable to access the device's web interface then it's likely that your CUCM is set to disable Web Access on your endpoint.  Check your Product Specific Configuration Layout section of the Device > Phone > Phone Configuration to see if the Web Access is enabled for your device (Make sure to Save and RESET the device after making this change).

Is your DX80 running Android or CE software?

Depending on the software type you're running, within CUCM

  • use a device type of "Cisco DX80" for Android.
  • use a device type of "Cisco TelePresence DX80" for CE.

If your CUCM doesn't already have the Cisco TelePresence DX80 device type, you need to install the required device pack.  Once you have the new device type added, you'll need to delete the old Cisco DX80 device in CUCM and create a new one using the Cisco TelePresence DX80 device type.

Cisco TelePresence DX devices does have a web interface, but it needs to be enabled in the device configuration when added into CUCM.

Suggest you take a look at the Convert between CE software and Android-based software guide and DX70 and DX80 Administrator Guide (CE8.2).
