Hi, please forgive what might be a stupid question: How do I get individual user holiday greetings to play on a schedule?
Environment: CM BE5k running 8.6.2.21900-5
Unity Connection 8.6.2ES25.21900-25
Various users all around the country have recorded Holiday greetings after I ticked the box to enable this greeting type
I now want to turn on each user's personal holiday greeting as we are now on holiday (each office has particular needs and it's own number - I can't just have one generic greeting. Plus some specific roles have individual greetings too).
I have created a Holiday Schedule containing the days we will be closed.
I have created a Schedule linked to this Holiday Schedule, including a schedule detail for All Hours.
I have set the active schedule for the user to this schedule.
I have set all the greetings to play My Personal Recording, not the system default.
The user is set to have UK English as their default language in Unity.
The greetings are recorded as UK English.
Yet when I call their number I get the US English standard greeting.
The bit I can't see is where I associate the Holiday greeting to the holiday schedule. It's like there is a piece missing that says, when this schedule is in force, use this greeting type. I'm re-reading the 3000000000000 pages of manuals but wondered if the support community could point me to something quicker?
Thanks
* I have managed to get this working for our most critical office by setting up a CTI route point, system call handler, importing and exporting greetings from the user greetings list, and forwarding all calls from that DN to the call handler, but I really don't want to have to do this for everyone by hand.
Cisco certainly knows how to make the easy complicated!
