Hi all,

Can any one help me regarding the following:

1. Expressway C&E firewall configuration

2. External DNS SRV configuration

I have all the documents regarding the Expressway 8.7 but still some clarifications are needed.

1. There are two important things; one is to open firewall port (you can find the list on cisco expressway guide) and second thing is do NAT reflection at firewall (depends on deployment).

2. Will you use expressway for MRA purpose or B2B calling etc; in case of MRA you need to configure _cisco-uds._tcp SRV record in enterprise DNS and _collab-edge SRV record at public DNS, for B2B there are other SRVs also which need to be created at public dns.

Hi Suresh,

I am using cyberoam for firewall configuration. I get some error messages while I select certain ports and port ranges. Do you have any  idea on that?

will you rectify my doubts using any docs/screenshots/attachments?

What do you need clarification on specifically?

The documentation is pretty good and if you follow it exactly, it should work or you should get to a point where it almost works. Then you can come back and post any issues you are having.

You either need to tell us what you want clarification on or try it yourself and post back any issues. 

What error message do you get when selecting certain ports?
