Extension Mobility with IPPA

Dear Sir,

I have 1 cluster of 2 uccx 10.5 server and cluster of 2 cucm 10.5 with 6921 as ip phone agent.

I run extension mobility on cucm cluster. the problem is that we have 3 shifts in our company and when user log-in and log-out of extension mobility service they have about 4 to 5 minute delay in login time.

and i ran IPPA service on extension mobility device profile and they have delay for going to ready state and login time for about 5 minute and i don't if this could help you through the problem,some agent have same IPPC extension.

I appreciate if you could help me through this problem.

Hi,

A few things to check:

1. Can you try replacing one of the 6921's with a different phone model and see if the issue still persists?

2. Are the 6921's local to the cucm / tftp servers or located over a WAN link?

3. Do you see the CPU / RAM / Disk usage as normal on cucm when you do a "show status" on the servers?

4. Do you see any locales being downloaded when the phone is logging in?

These can provide some hints on whether the issue is with the phone , cucm or the network.
