Forgot Password OS Admin CUCM

The version old CUCM System version: 8.6.2.20000-2, now position, I know the password Application user, but I forgot the os admin password. I have followed this link to reset the OS Admin password of CUCM version 8.6 but no result:

Is there any other way to know or reset admin password or change password from cm adminstration?  Thanks.

That’s the option to reset password and it works well.

If it’s on vm select an iso image from data store or if it’s physical server  insert a CD.

This is required to prove that you have console access.

if you are trying it with ssh it won’t work. Do the steps if you have console access

If i still do that steps, will cucm be broken? because cucm ver 8.6 is being used to production

That doesn't break your CUCM. I use to do this with customer who forget their OS admin password.
