hello
We just went live on cucm version 8.5.1
and group call pick up is not working
when i try to do a group pick up
i lift the handset, press the GPickup softkey, dial the PG pilot number
and then I get "Temp Fail"
how could we fix this issue

yes, we had overlapping extensions, the call pickup pilot number had the same extension as the uccx cti ports
i changed the uccx cti ports and that did the trick for me

In addition to what Cristobal has suggested also make sure on your Call Pickup Group Information Configuration the Call Pickup Group Number should be a unique number .The Call Pickup Group Number is kind of like a route point and should not be the same number as a DN. Please refer the below mentioned link

Hi Shalu/Cristobal,
I have a similar setup with UCCX version is 8.5.1 though I find it pickup feature unsupported in release note, Im looking for work around.
Call pickup number is a unique number in my case but it is next free number available after CTI port range. E.g CTI port range is from 3000 to 3100 and pickup group number is set to 3101.
Please advise if anything can be done to have solution.
