Hi,Need help fo r raid configuration on c210 m2

Hi,

I have one c210 M2,which have 16 1 TB hdd,i want to install esxi 5.0 on this server.

i want to configure raid 0 or 1 for 2hdd for esxi,and raid5 for vms datstore,but when i go to raid ocnfiguration wizard there is no option for raid 0,1,5,there is only option for raid 00,10.

can we add more than 2TB datastore for VM.

can anybody plaese help me here?

Hi Chris,

As per the reference link,when i select two HDD of 1TB for raid 1 and 7 hdd for raid5,then it shows select array havings same number of PDs.

when i select two hdd in each raid 00 or 10,then it works fine.

is it a firmware issue of Bios.

ca i configure 300 GB of hdd from 1TB hdd.
