How to create an auto-attendant in CUCM/Unity Connection 8.x

Good evening all... I have what I hope will be a simple question...

Background

I am attempting to create an auto-attendant in CUCM 8.x where a caller will dial a DID and be greeted with a message and then given the option to press 1 for Joe, press 2 for Steve, or press 3 for n....

Progress

In CUCM, I've created a CTI Route Point for the DID and set it to forward all calls to voice mail.

In Unity Connection I've created a call handler for the DID...

I am able to successfully dial the number and receive a recorded message...

The Question

How do I create the menu system in Unity Connection to allow a caller to choose from a pre-selected goup of people and have the call forwarded to that person?

Hi Dallas,

Here's a link explaning 'default' behaviour of an Auto Attendant in Unity Connection by leaving most of the settings as default in Unity Connection:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/voice_ip_comm/connection/8x/administration/guide/8xcucsag040.html#wp1056617

It will basically consist of adjusting call handler greetings, caller input, and transfers to meet your requirements.  Here's a link explaining Call Handler settings:

HTH,

Chris
