Hello everyone,
Today I was in the Cisco Unified Real Time Monitoring Tool, and I started getting alerts about a critical service down. The alert keeps going back and forth for the Pub and the Sub. The services that are down are:
-Cisco XCP Directory Service
-Cisco XCP Message Archiver
-Cisco XCP XMPP Federation Connection Manager
What I've noticed is the functionality with Jabber is a little strange. I'm fairly certain it is because of this.
I've attached a couple of snips with the errors. Any thoughts?

Hi,
The XCP Directory services (along with the Message Archiver / XMPP Federation Connection Manager) will not start unless properly configured. These are not services typically used by most customers. Below is a description of the uses for these:
Cisco UP XCP Directory - This is used for 3rd party clients that connect in through XMPP. This is essentially an laternate LDAP server that they can search for contacts.
Cisco UP XCP Message Archiver - This is used for archiving chat messages on an external Post GRE SQL server.
Cisco UP XCP XMPP Federation Connection Manager - This is used for fererations with XMPP services. Examples of this would be to fererate with gchat so you can IM those users.
