IM&Presence 9.1(1a) No chat feature on Jabber

Hi Everyone,

We  implemented  IM&Presence version 9.1(1a) with Cisco Call Manager 9.1(2), Now our Jabber  10.6  had only Presence Feature but no Chat. Even when calling thru soft phone no chat feature appearing. All IM&Presence chat related services are running please see attached screenshot also "Enable Instant Messaging" are enabled on Messaging Settings please see attached screenshot.

I don't see any users in the list to chat with, what happens when you try to add a user and then click on the chat option??

Also, are you sure you're not running in phone only mode???

Hi Jaime,

Thank you for the prompt response. When we click the user there were no chat option seen, please referred to attached screenshot. Also we are using soft phone mode on jabber.

Have you created UC service profile for IMP and assigned UC profile to end user and checked "enable User for Unified CM IM and Presence" on end user page.

Can you attach snap shot of jabber client (settings -> Help -> Connection status), last but not least do you have presence domain in example.com format ?

Hello

If you are not able to see the chat icon , this is because your jabber is unable to make or understand the IM Address of your contact.

Which in other way is if you right click on any contact , you won't see any IM Address field populated for your contact. Once you confirm if this is scenario , i can share what next can be done
