So, you were on 10.5.1, upgraded to 10.5.2, configured a few things, switched back to 10.5.1, to then perform the upgrade again to 10.5.2??
Whatever you configured on 10.5.2 will be lost if you switch back to 10.5.1, that's expected.
If you then UPGRADE again from 10.5(1) to 10.5(2), and by upgrade I mean running the whole upgrade procedure, as those you're using the 10.5(1) DB in which those users didn't exist, you cannot expect them to show in 10.5(2)

As I already explained, that's the expected behavior, there's no way you can get them back, you need to configure them again.

I suggest you open up a TAC, as there might be dependencies that were not deleted in the DB, and they will need to be removed.
