Incoming Call CallerID

I have a h323 connection between an avaya server and my CM4.1 server. calls and callerID is sent successfull both ways.  Avaya sends 6XXXXX as a calling number and CM sends 6XXXX as the calling number over the trunk, which is correct.  However, when a call comes from the avaya side to the CM side, CM is putting an additional 71 in front of the calling number, the 71 being our national dialing prefix.  How would I go about resolving this?

The first thing you could do is, run Dialed Number Analyzer on your gateway to/from Avaya, and it will show you at which point in the call flow is the 71 being prefixed.  Then from there, you can decide the best method of circumventing it.
