Hi,
I had to install 6 Call connectors for a customer. They have a UC560 and using SPA525 phones.
I installed 3 of them on the desktops without any problem. When i tried to install the Call Connector on the laptops the lines didn't upload. All the laptops are different and I run the TPS wizard several times. It is finding the phone, showing the extension but it fails when has to add it to the Call Connector.
I disable the Firewall, I changed the user as administrator but no luck.
Why on the desktops I didn't have any problem but on laptops doesn't work?
Any idea?
Thanks

Hi Christian,
What;s the version of the ucc you are trying to install ?
My guess is that the OS is different. Is it a 64bit OS installed on those laptops ?
Can you try with the latest callconnector ? I beliebe the latest can be installed in a 64 bit OS

Christos

Hi,
Thanks for replaying.
I really don't know if the laptops are 32 or 64 but I am using Call Connector verasion 1.6.0 which is the latest.
Any other tips?

I think the issue is related to the type of OS (32 bit or 64 bit)
If you are using the ucc client only 32 bit OS's are supported.
The server version supports 32bit and 64bit OS's.
This is a limitation on the TAPI client unfortunately.
Hope this helps,
Christos
