Hello,
I have been having some issues with our IP Communicator 7.x installs and DST or Timezone problems. If I have all of our devices in a device pool with the same time zone all of our phones (7941, 7942, 7962, 7965, 9951) have the correct time, except for the IP Communicator. It seems as if it ignores the GMT offset. So it's 5 hours out now.
If I change the IP communicator to a different device pool with a different time zone(one that is compatible with legacy devices) I can get it close to the correct time minus the DST difference, so it will be an hour behind.
Is there a configuration change that I need to make?
I'm running CUCM 8.0.3.20000-2, IP Communicator 7.0.6.
Thanks,
Dan.

I had to change my timezone for the device pool to one with a ‡ mark (for use the was America/New York).
That fixed the issue for me.

Yes, that did for me too until the DST change that we just had. If I used one of those legacy compatible time zones everything was still an hour off.
None of the legacy ones worked.

Odd, I didnt have that problem. However, I dont remember if I was configuring this the day before or the day after DST since this is a new install.
