Irrespective of the UCM version, the 7960 phones are no longer supported by TAC or Cisco. Please refer to End-of-Sale and End-of-Life Announcement for the Cisco Unified IP Phones 7940G and 7960G Third-Party SIP Firmware - Cisc⦠and End-of-Sale and End-of-Life Announcement for the Cisco Unified IP Phones 7940G and 7960G - Cisco.
But as of today, UCM does not restrict the registration of the 7960 device, to answer your question, UCM 11.5 will allow a 7960 SIP device to register.
