Just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions. We have employees using Remote Desktop (RDP) from home to remote into their office PC's to work during COVID. They have a headset and mic plugged into their home PC's via USB. We are able to make and receive calls using jabber that is installed on their office PC's. They can hear the caller perfectly, but what the caller hears is very choppy.
Here is what I have tested:
I have set audioqualitymode:i:2 on the RDP client
On the PC in the office where Jabber is installed I have done the following:
Using the Group Policy editor, Go to Computer Configuration:Administrative Templates:Windows Components: Remote Desktop Session Host:Device and Resource Redirection. Set “Limit audio playback quality.” to “Enabled,” and set “Audio Quality” option “to High”.
Not sure what else to try. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Seems like you're doing the same as here:

Somewhat, although there is no ASA Anyconnect or VPN involved in my case. Just RDP and Jabber.

Upgrading to the latest version of the Jabber client seems to have resolved the issue.
