Jabber MRA call setup issue

Issue:

When calling remote Jabber on Windows (v11.8.2) call connects but caller can only hear very loud static for a minute or so. After minute passes both parties can hear each other just fine.

This happens when calling from:

* mobile

* internal Jabber client

* internal desk phone

Only to external Jabber for windows connecting via MRA (Expressqway-C and E). 

Software versions:

* CUCM version 9.1.2.12901-3

* Expressway-E/C version X8.2.1

* Jabber version 11.8.2

Issue does not occur when remote Jabber connects over VPN (so no MRA access is used).

I have looked over logs in all of the usual places but without luck. I am attaching recording of the static for those interested and some logs from call testing.

Would be great if anyone could shed some light on what might be at play here...

If it was me, I would try to upgrade the Expressway-C & E servers first, you have pretty much old versions. I would upgrade at least to 8.7. Today it is already 8.9.x.

Try to disable video on the Jabber client and see if that resolves the issue.
