License Count Utility error

Hello,

Is there a minimum version of call manager that is needed to run the Cisco License Count Utility?. Because I am trying to get the license report from Call Manager version 6.0 and it is giving me timed out error always. I have tried both the CM administration and OS administration username/passwords. Any workaround?

LCU works with Call manager version below 8.x

Is Call Manager Publisher reachable from this PC?

Did u try running LCU from different PC?

Yeah the call manager is reachable from this computer but i haven't tried it with a different PC. I shall try it.

Also, Try disabling Firewall in PC, if any.

Hi Aman,

I tried it on a different PC, but still the same error. Please see the attached screenshot. Also I have disabled the firewall but no luck. I have also tried restarting the AXL Web service and also tried restarting the publisher server. I am stuck now.

Is CCM Application username has Standard AXL API Access Role/Access Group assigned?

Yes, it has the standard AXL API access role assigned. I have even created a new user with all the permissions and still not working. I just figured out the interface of the vlan I'm in is in the firewall and checking now with the firewall engineer to see if there are any restrictions.
