Looking for CUCM 6.1.2-1120-1

Hi,

I'm looking for an ISO for CUCM 6.1.2-1120-1. I have open 2 cases and have been told that this version is not (or no longer) in Cisco's internal repository. It seems like it was a custom or very limited release provided by Cisco TAC at the time. If any of you have this version, please let me know.

The "show version" of that version shows as followed:

Host Name    : xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Date         : Tue Aug 4, 2015 13:05:38
Time Zone    : America/New_York
Locale       : en_US.UTF-8
Product Ver  : 6.1.2.1120-1
Platform Ver : 2.0.0.1-1

Thanks.

You should definitely consider upgrading, having cases opened on a system that has been EOL for the past couple of years may make things impossible to manage once technical or security issues arise. If I recall 6.x doesn't even have backup and restore capabilities for the cluster.

As for 6.1.2.1120, it's a device pack installed upon 6.1(2). You could install a device pack which is only slightly newer than 6.1.2.1120 called 6.1.2.1131 and it's even located in the Cisco download repository. Take a look at the release notes:

http://www.cisco.com/web/software/282074299/24559/cmterm-devicepack-6_1_2_1131-1_readme.html

If the changes between 1120 and 1131 (as described in the link) don't conversely affect you, you could download the version and then install it on the Pub and subscribers.

For some reason this cluster is really running 6.1.2-1120-1, it's not a device pack:

Active Version:  6.1.2.1120-1
Inactive Version: 6.1.2.1000-13

Hi Francois,

Its an ES version of 6.x, not a device pack.

Hi Francois,

What is the requirement for the bootable 6.1.2.1120-1 version? If this is a subscriber server in the cluster that needs to be rebuilt then you can try removing the server from the cluster and upgrade to an available version of 6.1.5 by using the upgrade file from cco. If you have any other bootable image of 6.x version then you can use the "upgrade during install method" to build a cucm server with the 6.1.5 version.

If this is a Publisher server then there is no other option but to get the 6.1.2.1120-1 version. If TAC or your Cisco Account team can not provide it then its highly unlikely that you will get it from anywhere else. You would require manually migrating the data to a new version of cucm in that case.

So, the only chance to get out of this situation is if you have any other 6.1.x bootable and this is a subscriber server.
