Guy's
Can someone help, trying to stop the calling party number being passed out on calls.
Have tried everything but still can't sort it.
Sounds dumb but pulling my hair out.

What product do you have CM, CME?
DO you want to completely block it or mask with something else?
If you have CM what version?
Have you tried setting "calling Line ID presentation" to restricted on the route pattern?

Hi Chris,
We have CM 6.1, have tried "calling Line ID presentation" to restricted on the route pattern, but this does not seem to work.
We have 2 requirements, firstly for all outbound calls to PSTN gateways we want to hide the calling number and secondly we have some GSM gateways that are in a route group, if a user dials 907xxxxxxxxx then the call is routed to the route group via a sip trunk, and for these calls we want to mask the number behind our default PSTN DDI.
Hope this makes sense.

Is the modification by any chance done on the Route Group within the Route List or the GW/trunk?
If so, that would override the Route pattern setting.
