Media-proxy licensing

Hi everyone

i am trying to figure out if any specific smart licensing configuration is required for media-proxy configuration on IOS XE 17.9

So far it seems to work nicely and i dont have any “mode border-element” configured under the voice service voip. Which means that my routers will not likely report any media proxy license usage to the SSM. I wonder if this is how it works or I still have to have mode border-element  configured even though i am not running CUBE on these routers, only media-proxy.

Just because it's not enforcing license usage now (in your current version), doesn't mean it will be this way in future versions.
