Hey All,
I am trying to set up a proof of concept in my lab for Ad Hoc Encrypted Conferencing using he Cisco Meeting Server as a Conference Resource in an MRG/MRGL set up. I have it pointed to a SIP Trunk to the SME in the Conference Bridge configuration and a SIP Trunk in the SME to the CMS. I am using SIP OAuth on 14SU2 with one 8861 phone, one 7821 phone and one Jabber client. Direct calls between all 3 devices are all getting encrypted with no issue. When I try to conference in a third device, it connects but I only get unencrypted RTP.
I checked the SDL traces and see that the CMS does send encryption in the SDP to the CUCM but the CUCM send the SDP without any encryption.
All the SIP Device Security Profiles are configure for Encryption.
Is this supported for Ad Hoc audio only conferencing?

Have you configured encryption on the SIP Trunk too?
You have to use encrypted communication all along the path and not just between a part of the involved devices, trunks, ...

Hey,
Thanks for responding. I have Encrypted SIP trunks between the SME and Leaf clusters, along with the SIP trunk to the CMS.
