MeetingPlace Express dial out

MPX Version 2.1 with CUCM 4.2.

If I start a conference and then do a dialout to an external party, the external party still hears the auto-attendant and requests that person to enter a meeting ID. I would have expected if I ran a dial out from an active conference, it would just automatically enter that person into the current conference.

Have I understood that wrong or is there something that needs enabling to activate that function. Thanks.

Actually I have noticed it does enter you into the current meeting after you have gone through the attendant and pressed 1 and announced yourself. I was looking for a way to completely avoiding that intro phase and placing the called party into the conference. The reason for this is I am calling an MCU that doesn't have a person on the end of it, so that I can bring an MCU conference in as an additional party. This is to try and get round the issue of not having hardware MCU support in MPX, but still being able to bring the MCU conference into the MPX conference.

Anyone know a way of doing this?
