The MPX1.2 configuration guide,

"The system automatically creates a user profile when a new user attempts to log in to Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Express and is successfully authenticated through an external directory"

Is the login means WEB? Can I auto-creating via TUI without WEB login?

Hi -

Are you using CallManager's DC Directory? We are using this, instead of Active Directory. We create CCMUser accounts which are associated with the users' IP phones. Once the user has a CCMUser account, they can authenticate with MPE. You don't need to create a separate MPE account beforehand. The user's MPE configuration is taken from MPE's default SYSTEM group unless you change it.

I know the LDAP mechanism and the question is what is meaning login. WEB login or TUI login? For example, can I auto-create user profile via TUI only?
