Hmm... how many different methods are there to implement voice gateways?

I can recall three:

MGCP with H323 fallback

H323

CME

Any missing?, and can we help the chap who posted in the other link...

Depends on your scenario.

There a VG with NO srst. So it can be setup with MGCP or H323 for the PRI or mixed, etc.

VG with SRST

Same scenario as above but with voice translations for SRST inbound/outbound

VG with SRST+CME Basically the same as above, but when in SRST mode, you have CME features.
