Currently have a 4331 that is supporting an on-prem cluster of CUCM. Working on migrating users to WebEx calling, w/ the plan to still utilize the local 4331 for calling in/out. The plan is to do a phased migration, so I wanted to confirm that this is a feasible approach? I know I'll need to upgrade to at least 17.6.1 (planning to go to 17.12.5c), but wanted to make sure I'd be able to send some calls to WebEx directly from the CUBE via dial-peers and others that still reside on CUCM via the existing dial-peers?
My current setup doesn't require registration, so would adding the configuration example from the guide (Configure Local Gateway on Cisco IOS XE for Webex Calling) cause any issues, or would I need to move the existing configuration under 1 tenant and create a 2nd tenant for the new configuration?
Also allow calls between the 2 (on-prem to a migrated user). I see the documentation points out calls using the local gateway and WebEx exclusively and also documents all calls still flowing through CUCM with some phones registered to WebEx, but didn't see a clear one with respect to a transition period.
