Hi
I have a question, when you migrate from version 11 to 12.5 (smart license), do we need to buy new licenses for the version 12? or the TAC can migrate the license 11 to 12 with the Software support ?or maybe we have to buy some upgrade license version ?

That all depends on the status of your support contracts, if you're entitled for the upgrade, you can go to software.cisco.com and see if your licenses are there and use the migration wizard to turn them into smart licenses. If not, licensing TAC can assist.
If you're not entitled, you can discuss with your Cisco partner/distributor what options are available for you to upgrade and what you would need to buy.

Assume you have 300 license, but you have only valid SWSS for 200. in that case you are entitled to upgrade 200 license.For remaining license you need to renew the SWSS.
There is no upgrade part number anymore. all are flex license. if your license part number reached EOL you need to go with the flex license.
First Check if your SWSS cover all your license or not.
