Moving Accounts Created During Message Store Configuration....

Unity 5.x with Exch 2007 integration & AD 2008.

Any problems with moving the accounts that are created during the 'Message Store Configuration Wizard' setup to another OU Container?

Hi Brian -

This should not be a problem provided:

- The OU you move the accounts too were included in the Unity permissions wizard when you ran it, i.e. in the domain section of the permissions wizard you had the root of the domain, for example xyz.com, not xyz.com\Users.

- You check for any group policies explicitly assigned to that OU that would in no way affect the permissions granted by the permissions wizard - for example any explicit deny inheritance for example.

- Keep the mailboxes in the same location, i.e. do not rerun Mailbox Move wizard.
