Can (1) single Unity unified messaging system exist at one site where multiple domains and exchange organizations exist.

What is configured is one forest with separate trusted domains. Also have multiple exchange organizations within this same forest.

How can this unity server services both locations?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi -

Do you mean multiple Exchange administrative groups in one forest? I don't think a forest can have more than one Exchange organization. We have multiple Exchange administrative groups, one organization, one AD forest. We have one Unity server per Exchange administrative group, as recommended by Unity design - http://www.cisco.com/application/pdf/en/us/guest/products/ps4608/c1612/ccmigration_09186a008022f4a6.pdf.

If multiple administrative groups are connected via LAN speed, you may be able to use one Unity server. Check the link included in the section titled - "Exchange administrative groups and routing groups". The Unity permissions wizard is used to delegate permissions in the forest for the various domains and Exchange organization.
