Hi all, we are using Unity 5 with CUCM 6. Everything was working fine like people could leave a message and the WMI light turn on but it doesn't do that anymore. People are still able to leave a message and it gets delivered to their mail boxes and they also get the notification on the phone but the MWI doesn't turn on.
Any help would be appreciated.

If the users have been migrated to a new domain you will need to run the Permissions Wizard to grant permissions to the Unity Directory service account for the new domain as well as grant permissions to the Unity Message Store service account for the new Exchange servers message store(s).

Hi, as I said that my knowledge of unity is very limited so can you please confirm this.
If I run the permission wizard for the new domain and exchange, will it affect the existing one? I also belive the new exchange is 2007 and in the permission wizard it says it's different to the older versions and has to be done differently.
Any good docs to read on these.
Cheers

If you run the Permissions Wizard for the new domain and Exchange, it will NOT affect the existing one, your simply adding permissions to the service accounts that Unity runs under so that it can access the other domain and mailstore.
There are some Exchange 2003/2007 permissions that Permissions Wizard does not set in Exchange, and the process to manually assign these permissions yourself is slightly diffrent for Exchange 2003 vs. Exchange 2007.
When Permissions Wizard completes, it launches an html help page that describes how to set the additional required permissions in Exchange 2003 as well as Exchange 2007.
